World Literature - Chinese Literatures

It is without a doubt that Chinese literature is undeniably well known to millions of people from across the globe. Who would not know the philosopher and moralist of sixth century B.C. Confucious? He is one of the central figures of China and his teachings are still  not being forgotten until today. It only proves that his teachings have touched the lives of so many people.

Most of Chinese literature is based on divination, ceremonials, rules of behavior, history, poems, ballads and a great variety of material with emphasis on the conduct of life. When it comes to poems, they are largely lyrical and in fact, many have been already translated into English.

Indeed, Chinese literature has significantly influence the world of literature.
